The latest addition to CoverGirl Queen Collection are six new Vivid Impact Eyeliners that promise to create striking, lasting eyeliner looks with the effortless application of a pencil.

With a smudger tip on one end, the Vivid Impact Eyeliners look exactly like CoverGirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner. The only difference? The colors, which are marketed towards women of color but much, much better in my opinion and perfect for anyone. Midnight is a flat black; Truffle is a flat brown; Jade 310 is a dark teal with shimmer; Cabernet is a dark burgundy; Gilt is an olive green with shimmer and Amethyst is a silvery purple with shimmer.

Just like the Liquidline Blast, these eyeliners have a creamy texture that glides on like butter with zero skipping and tugging. Color payoff is also excellent and once it sets, it will not budge, not even if you rub it or put water over it.

Bottom line, CoverGirl Queen Collection Vivid Impact Eyeliner is amazing and definitely comparable to my favorite Jealousness Waterproof Gel Eyeliners and Make Up For Ever Aqua Eye Eyeliners.

Makeup Tutorial: Graphic Eyeliner How-To

Prep yourself for 2012 by turning an otherwise ordinary cat eye into a graphic eye, one of the hottest looks around! Three different looks and tutorial after the jump!

Graphic Eyeliner Look #1

In full rage on the Spring 2012 runways, this look consists of three parts:

a) your regular winged out black eyeliner along the upper lashline
b) a white line on the lower waterline
c) a black line along the lower lashline

When working on the lower eye, run a Q-tip on the waterline to soak up excess moisture. Always start with the white before you move onto the black to avoid cleanups.

Graphic Eyeliner Look #2

All about bringing the line back onto the crease, I first rocked this look back in 2007 doing a dupe on a Lily Cole ad. The key is to first draw on the line with a sharpened pencil then tracing it with a liquid liner.

Graphic Eyeliner Look #3

Finally, the all-out, double-ended dramatic cat eye. To do this, color in the entire eyelid with a black eyeliner. Create an upward flick on the outer corner and drag the line downward by the tear duct. Finish by topping with a black eyeshadow for maximum intensity.

While both of these are just your typical matte cat eye looks, the first set is a graphic eye with the line winged back into the crease while the latter is an Amy Winehouse retro dramatic cat eye.

Soooo here are finally some pictures of me wearing the new, limited-edition Christian Dior Velvet Eyes Multi-Wear Adhesive Eyeliner Patches.

Below are the two styles I used. I absolutely loved how the crystals added instant sparkle without being too over the top. Plus they make achieving the perfect cat eye so easy! What do you guys think?

My Christian Dior Velvet Eyes Multi-Wear Adhesive Eyeliner Patches finally came in the mail today!

Inside the box is a velvet tray that sits a tiny 0.5ml bottle of eyelash glue, along with a sleeve that contains a sheet of eyeliner patches and instructions on how to use them.

The four eyeliner patches are all made out of velvet and come in the shape of cat eyes. There is a graphic design that goes onto the crease (think Palace Pedigreed makeup look from MAC’s Fabulous Feline collection), your traditional cat eye, one that is decked with anthracite grey crystals and one with three white Swarovski crystals. All are super cool!

The patches measure a little over 4cm long each and peel easily from the silicone backing. Much to my surprise, they fit perfectly and comfortably on my Asian eyes and no trimming or adjusting is required at all. So far I have only played around with two of them and both looked great and stayed on well without the glue.

Removing them was also a breeze and they stuck right back onto the silicone backing with no problems. I will wear these out this weekend and post pics!
