Like my favorite Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils and NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils, these glide on just like butter. The pigmentation is unbeatable, except for Winter White and Royal Purple, which are slightly sheerer and require a few more layers to be opaque. I also like that you can apply a thin line with these despite their chubby size and they make a perfect base for powder eyeshadows and loose glitter.

As for the claim of being long-lasting, water-resistant, crease-proof? Totally true! The pencils stayed on my bare lids for 10 hours straight without shifting or fading the slightest bit, yet come off easily with an oil-based remover.

To go with the gorgeous bright lipsticks I picked up for spring, I have been donning the cat eye look a lot lately using K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner 24H WP, a must-have for many Asian makeup artists and models, including Angelababy.

Made in Japan, the eyeliner comes in a portable pen design with a micro-fiber felt-tip applicator for precise application and easy control. It got the name 1 Day Tattoo from its formula, which contains water-resistant polymers for smudge-resistant and sweat-resistant 24-hour wear along with chamomile extracts and panthenol (vitamin B5) to nourish the skin. There is only one color available, SB01, an intense true black that will make any eye color pop.

Just as promised, the eyeliner glided on easily without skipping and delivered intense pigmentation so you don’t ever have to go over the line twice. Thanks to the thin yet long bristles, I can easily create a thin line or a thicker one for more drama.

It also stayed true to its claim of being long-wearing. The color lasted all day and night, even after a shower but comes off easily with a makeup remover. Seriously, what more can you ask for?

The latest addition to CoverGirl Queen Collection are six new Vivid Impact Eyeliners that promise to create striking, lasting eyeliner looks with the effortless application of a pencil.

With a smudger tip on one end, the Vivid Impact Eyeliners look exactly like CoverGirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner. The only difference? The colors, which are marketed towards women of color but much, much better in my opinion and perfect for anyone. Midnight is a flat black; Truffle is a flat brown; Jade 310 is a dark teal with shimmer; Cabernet is a dark burgundy; Gilt is an olive green with shimmer and Amethyst is a silvery purple with shimmer.

Just like the Liquidline Blast, these eyeliners have a creamy texture that glides on like butter with zero skipping and tugging. Color payoff is also excellent and once it sets, it will not budge, not even if you rub it or put water over it.

Bottom line, CoverGirl Queen Collection Vivid Impact Eyeliner is amazing and definitely comparable to my favorite Jealousness Waterproof Gel Eyeliners and Make Up For Ever Aqua Eye Eyeliners.

Makeup Tutorial: Graphic Eyeliner How-To

Prep yourself for 2012 by turning an otherwise ordinary cat eye into a graphic eye, one of the hottest looks around! Three different looks and tutorial after the jump!

Graphic Eyeliner Look #1

In full rage on the Spring 2012 runways, this look consists of three parts:

a) your regular winged out black eyeliner along the upper lashline
b) a white line on the lower waterline
c) a black line along the lower lashline

When working on the lower eye, run a Q-tip on the waterline to soak up excess moisture. Always start with the white before you move onto the black to avoid cleanups.

Graphic Eyeliner Look #2

All about bringing the line back onto the crease, I first rocked this look back in 2007 doing a dupe on a Lily Cole ad. The key is to first draw on the line with a sharpened pencil then tracing it with a liquid liner.

Graphic Eyeliner Look #3

Here are pictures of me wearing the remaining two Dior Velvet Eyes Backstage Eyeliners-To-Wear Multi-Wear Adhesive Eyeliner Patches!

While both of these are just your typical matte cat eye looks, the first set is a graphic eye with the line winged back into the crease while the latter is an Amy Winehouse retro dramatic cat eye.
