Custom designed by makeup guru Pat McGrath and used frequently on the runway of Spring/Summer 2009 New York Fashion Week, Max Factor’s Vivid Impact Lipcolor is a definite must-have for all lipstick lovers.
Sheer Color Cheek Tint ($22)
These are a *lot* tinier than I expected but so cute! They go on very smooth and leave behind a slightly wet finish. They also contain really fine shimmer which tends to show up more when the product dries up. My picks for the summer? Sheer Raspberry, Sheer Pink and Sheer Coral.
Sheer Color Lip Gloss ($20)
These look totally yummy in the tubes and remind me of MAC’s LipGelee but just as the name suggests, they are super sheer and will not give a lot of color.
Here is me wearing the new MAC Viva Glam VI Special Edition Lipstick. MAC describes this is a “soft blue pink” but I do not see much cool tones. On me, it shows up as a your-lips-but-better rosy color which is perfect for the everyday look. Thanks to its Lustre formula, it is also fairly moisturizing and easy to wear. I will definitely be grabbing for this a lot.
Thanks to The Makeup Show LA, I have discovered Make Up For Ever 12 Flash Color Case. This cute palette contains 12 vibrant cream-based colors that can be used on the eyes, cheeks and lips and is sworn by all the pros in the industry (Celebrity Makeup Artist Sharon Gault also used this on singer Keri Hilson for her music videos!)
