How To: Take Care Of Your Circle Lens
If you have ordered circle lenses from me, please read on:
* It is your sole responsibility to check with an optometrist to make sure you can wear contacts and you have the right prescription. If you have never worn contacts before or do not have a prescription, please do not wear these lenses.
* If you are not used to wearing contact lens, start out slowly with 2 hours a day then gradually increase the length of time.
* Never ever share your contact lens with anyone.
* Always remember to wash your hand with soap before you handle your contacts.
* Due to the lower permeability of color contacts and circle lens, do not wear them for extended periods of time (do not exceed 8 to 10 hours a day). If your eyes ever get irritated/red/dry, stop wearing the lenses immediately. If the redness/irritation persists, consult an eye doctor right away.
* Keep your contacts as clean as possible. Never wash them or the case with tap water and remember to follow the instructions completely. I highly recommend Ciba Vision’s Clear Care solution. This stuff really cleans and never dries out your eyes!
Custom Purchase
Since circle lenses are primarily available in Asia, I can get a hook up for those are you who are interested in trying them. A prescription from your optometrist will not be required (anyone can get contact lenses in Asia without a prescription) but you will be solely responsible if you do decide to place an order. If you have never worn contacts before, I highly suggest you check with your optometrist and do some research on contact lens usage to decide if this is for you. Regular contact lens users can simply send me their prescription. Please e-mail me at makeup_forlife@yahoo.com for more details.

Circle Lens
Spotted in magazines, on celebrities and models, circle lenses have been the it thing in Asia for the past couple of years now.
Circle lenses are simply cosmetic contact lenses with a black rim on the outside of your iris (hence the name circle) to make your eyes appear bigger and brighter. They come in a variety of colors like black, brown, gray, violet, blue, green etc and are usually disposable (daily, weekly, monthly, 3-months, 6-months and 1 year). You can get them with or without prescriptions and certain brands like G&G even carry ones for astigmatism.

Makeup Tips for Contact Lens Wearers
Someone requested guidelines on wearing eye makeup for contact lens wearers. I wear contacts (clear, color and circle lens) myself so here are a few tips you guys can use.
* Pop in your contacts before you apply any eye makeup. This way, you will be able to see more clearly and avoid any mistakes.
* Try not to rim your inner lash line to avoid tearing. But if you really need to do so, use a waterproof/smudgeproof liner. My picks are MAC Fluidline and Prestige Automatic Eyeliner.
* To avoid eyeshadow from dropping into your eyes and causing irritation, either use a cream formula or simply wet your brush before using powder eyeshadow.
* Pick a mascara with minimal flaking and smearing. I like CoverGirl LashBlast and L’oreal Voluminous.
* Remove contacts before you remove your eye makeup to avoid damaging them.
