Described as “silver and pastel” by Karl Lagerfeld, the Chanel Spring 2010 Haute Couture collection is one of my favorite couture collections of all time. Not only is the soft silver eye makeup and bright coral lips super gorgeous, the Lady Gaga-esque bow hair adds a sense of sweetness to the equally beautiful collection of suits and dresses.

The Paris Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2009 Fashion Week has finally come to a wrap and below are some of my favorite looks.

Chanel
Super thick winged out eyeliner + nude face = Fierce.

Christian Dior
Dior is at it again with its colorful and dramatic makeup.

Jean Paul Gaultier
This is my favorite and *so* perfect for fall. Love the chocolate eyeshadow and crimson lips!

Armani Privé
And for a change, fresh-faced models with dark hair, strong brows, flushed cheeks and just a tint of color on the lips.

Inspired by the mysterious side of Venice, Karl Lagerfeld created a glamorously dark Chanel Resort 2010 Collection.

Makeup and Hair
Models were given a wavy ’30s bob, a nude face with eyes heavily rimmed in black and maroon, which is totally reminiscent of Marchesa Casati. The look sure is pretty but a little too dramatic for the warmer months. Save this for fall instead!
