Runway Beauty: Thakoon Fall 2011 Makeup Breakdown

Lead artist Diane Kendal paired tribal eyes with muted lips at Thakoon Fall 2011.

“With Thakoon’s references to this idea of tribal opulence, I felt that if we were going to do “color” it would have to be focused on the eye with one central color theme, and nothing else,” explained Kendal. “There was a lot of youth in the group of models, so we wanted to keep the look very fresh. Red was a natural choice, complimenting the use of color throughout the collection.”
