Puckering up to our favorite lip gloss at a restaurant after a meal, reapplying that disappearing eyeliner in the bathroom of the hottest club, powdering our noses on the train – we have all done our makeup in public to a certain extent.
While some people take it to the extreme (I have seen girls do their whole face – foundation, concealer, powder, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, lips etc. – on the train), I am only guilty of touching up my eye and lip makeup in public.
So let me ask you ladies, what’s your take on painting your faces in public? Do you do it and how far would you go?

Whole face?! i dont have time to do that! haha. I only do touch ups.
One of my pet peeves is when people do it when they’re driving…
The most I do would be apply a clear balm. I remember when I actually did bother with makeup, I would pick the day when I arrive school early at 7:30am (the first class is 8am) and I would literally hide myself inside a restroom cell, sitting on the toilet seat then curl my lashes and put on mascara and some gloss…
I also tried to do it when I work, when there is very few people inside the computer lab, I will hide under my desk for 5 seconds and rub some cheek stain to feel pretty.
It depends. If I’m on the train or a plane and it’s early in the morning or it’s a very long trip, I’d probably put on makeup just before I’ve arrived at my destination.
I try to be mindful of being more discreet but… I’ve never really been the civilized sort, lol.
I do apply lipstick now and then, but I must confess that I don’t feel very comfortable doing it… I wonder why! I mean, it’s not that we’re doing something wrong, is it?
i think it is kind of awkward when people do their makeup in class….you see them pull out their mirror and big bag of makeup and as if anyone isn’t there, they do their makeup….i have only done touch-ups but i would at least go to the washroom to do it….
whole face makeup in public? I do not do. it’s very hard to makeup in public. i just do lipstick and eye linear.
I occasionally do it. Well, in class, during breaks, if I suppose my make up is faded. My make up is light, only foundation, powder and eyeliner and lips so I think it’s fast and easy… The disgust part is when you roll your eyes up and down to apply mascara lol, I do it at home or don’t do it at all. Make up is for everybody to see how beautiful you can be, you don’t have to show them the behind the scene! I have to admit though the result can turn out to be great, behind the scene always looks awful.
I work shift work and my day shifts start at 7am. Every min of sleep in the morning is precious, I work about 15 minutes public transit away from home. Guess where I apply my everyday makeup, ON THE BUS. hahaha
