At the Spring/Summer 2010 show, Christian Dior is at it again with its colorful makeup and this time, the theme was a modern ’40s look.
Makeup artist Pat McGrath kept the skin fresh by applying full makeup with a light hand. Shades of purple, green, peach and brown were added onto the eyelids and the top and bottom lashes was heavily coated with CoverGirl LashBlast mascara. Beige shimmer was used to highlight models’ cheekbones and noses and their lips were sealed with a velvet red lipstick.

wow these are beautiful!!!
This is by far my favorite look of all the shows, and probably all looks I have seen in general! They always say keep the eyes neutral and away from colors when wearing red lipstick, but even with pretty vibrant greens and purples, the look still is fresh. I’m thinking it’s because of the shades of the colors and their skin tone which is oh so pale.
I would love to see this on you Phyllis, prove that women of any race can rock this! 😛
Wow, I love the interesting juxtaposition of the vibrant colors with the strong red lipstick!
