L.A.M.B. A/W 2012 brought us yet another gorgeous 60s rock ‘n roll makeup look created by Maybelline New York Global Makeup Artist Charlotte Willer.
With a rock ‘n roll vision in mind, the look created by Maybelline New York Global Makeup Artist Charlotte Willer for Rachel Zoe A/W 2012 was “60s-70s sexy – reminiscent of Marianne Faithfull – meets the fresh, contemporary girl of today”.
For a modern approach on the 60s look, makeup artist Pat McGrath gave models hot pink feather lashes (that reminded me of my Make Up For Ever Hot Pink Feather Lashes) with a matching pout at the Viktor & Rolf Spring/Summer 2012 show in Paris. Are we liking the pink overload? Photos: WWD.com
François Nars, Founder & Creative Director of NARS Cosmetics, once again created the look at the Marc Jacobs Spring 2012 show. And this time, the look featured “strong eyes, glowing skin and nude, glossy lips”.
Fresh face paired with a harsh, dramatic 60′s eye and sleek bun with a diagonal parting was the look at GUiSHEM Sprong 2012.
Echoing the bright prints and ’60s vibe in the Peter Som Spring 2012 Collection, Tom Pecheux working for MAC Cosmetics gave models “cool, playful makeup” with a “banana purple eye” while Wella Professionals’ Eugene Soulieman created “bad hair for a bad girl coming from a rich family”.
