The new eyelash collection from Katy Perry and UK eyelash brand Eylure just landed at Ulta and as expected, total cuteness overload! Read on to see my review and pics!

Eylure Katy Perry False Eyelash reviews

All handmade and 100% natural, the Katy Perry by Eylure lashes come with adhesive, a cute sticker and Katy’s tips on how to apply them. There are four different styles:

Sweetie Pie is a natural-looking style similar to Ardell #109.
Oh Honey! is your typical wispy style similar to Ardell Runway Lash in Daisy.
Oh My! is the most dramatic and unique out of the four. It looks like two sets of lashes layered on top of one another and should be what Katy’s wearing on the box.
Cool Kitty is an intense, full style that is similar to Ardell #131.

I played with mine briefly and here are my thoughts so far:

PROS
* Girly packaging and cute names.
* Very soft and natural-looking hair.
* Fits well (no trimming required) and feels light and comfortable on.
* Easy to use. Love that the adhesive comes with a little applicator so you can apply the glue directly onto the strip without making a mess.
* Reusable as long as you take good care of them.

CONS
* Expensive. Most drugstore lashes retail $3-5 for a pair but this goes for almost $7.
* Limited selection. Would love to see a wider variety of styles.

  1. Walgreen’s carries the Eyelure lashes for $5.99 and I’ve been buying them regularly @ BOGO free. That makes the price competitive. I ADORE the doubles and wear them every day, and although I haven’t seen the Katy Perry ones, the main difference I’ve seen is that the ones I’ve bought have black strips. That’s not a problem for me because I like black eyeliner. I cut them in half and only use one lash at a time, and I’ve gotten compliments on my lashes where people thought they were my real lashes!! In such a long list of favorite things, my most favorite is the adhesive – from the best applicator I’ve ever seen to how well it sticks, and, MOST IMPORTANTLY: it doesn’t have any fumes at all and doesn’t make my eyes water. Oh, and I’m over 50 so I apply them in such a way that they lift a teensy bit at the outer corners (when you fill in around with black powder liner you can’t even tell) and it works almost as well as an eye lift.

    • I didn’t know they do Eylure BOGO free at Walgreens! Thanks for the tip =)

  2. Awwww! I don’t think this is available in Canada!

    • Awww you can always get a custom purchase… from me!!! Just shoot me an e-mail if you’re interested.

    • I agree with the packaging. It’s super cute. @Joy, you can buy them at Ladymoss.com. I follow them on twitter and they said they ship worldwide. I get my Red Cherry lashes there.

    • Joy, you can get them in Canada. I found mine at my local Claire’s store, so as long as you have a claire’s in a mall close to you you can buy them. The only down side is that they only sold Sweetie Pie, and Oh, My.

  3. Hi Phyllis,

I sent you a message. thanks!
