2011 MTV Movie Awards Makeup: Leighton Meester, Emma Stone and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Last night at the 2011 MTV Awards, Leighton Meester, Emma Stone and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley showed us the power of heavy eyeliner paired with a neutral lip. I personally LOVED the Brigitte Bardot-esque look on these ladies, especially Rosie. Read on to learn how to recreate each of these individual looks!

For Leighton’s look, rim your eyes completely with a black eyeliner. Smudge out the line with a charcoal eyeshadow, making sure you keep the color close to the lashline. Highlight the inner v with a pop of white gold eyeshadow and apply several coats of mascara to complete the look.

To get Emma’s look, sweep a lavender eyeshadow on the eyelid. Line your upper lid with a black liquid liner and add a small flick on the outer corner for a cat eye effect. Liquid liner can look harsh on the lower eyelid so finish with a pencil eyeliner and add several coats of mascara on both the top and bottom.

To pull a Rosie, sweep a warm neutral eyeshadow all over the eyelid and extend just a little past your crease. Run a black eyeliner all around your eyes and smudge with a Q-tip. Apply several coats of mascara.
