At the Preen Fall 2010 show, James Kaliardos for MAC created a “pretty, romantic yet futuristic look” with “natural tones, mauve, pinks and lavender” that are perfect not just for fall, but spring. I’m sooooooo going to be wearing this look!
We all know how stress can wreak havoc on the skin but now you can fight it with Kenzoki’s latest Angel Eyes from the Belle De Jour range.
Containing White Lotus, Angel Eyes claims to significantly boost the appearance of younger, healthier looking skin by reducing the effects of cortisol, aka stress hormone. In clinical trials, levels of cortisol in saliva were shown to decrease by a whooping 13% after a single application. Angel Eyes also claims to improve the production of beta endorphins and promote an overall feeling of well-being.
The look is all about a strong brow and nude lips at the Thakoon Fall 2010 show.
Inspired by a collection rich in texture, the makeup for the Yigal Azrouel Fall 2010 Collection is about the texture of the skin. Chic, yet effortless, skin is bronzed with emphasis on cheeks, and eyes are softly defined in beige and brown tones. Nude lips complete a fairly monotone, natural look, with the exception of a strong, linear, defined brow.
At the Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2010 show, the look is all about a sultry smoky eye in plum and reddish brown with a dash of shimmer in the inner eye and nude lips. This is definitely one of my favorite looks so far and I can’t wait to do my very own version of it! In the mean time, read on to find out what makeup artist Sarah Tanno from MAC used to create the look.
