Celebrity Makeup Breakdown: Ashley Greene at “Inside the mark Studio” event

November 21, 2010

Brown eyeshadow paired with a red lip is the easiest way to a sophisticated look. Case in point? Ashley Greene at the “Inside the mark Studio” event. See what products mark celebrity makeup artist Mai Quynh used to create the look after the jump!

“I started with mark Calm & Composed Super-Soothing Moisturizer to evenly hydrate her skin. Afterward, I used a mark Good Riddance Concealer pencil in Light/Medium under Ashley’s eyes and around her nose to create a clean base. I always follow concealer with mark Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation in Natural to polish the skin’s palette to perfection.”

“To draw attention toward Ashley’s eyes, I prepped her eyes with mark Please Hold Eye Primer in Light/Medium. Using the flat eyeliner brush, I applied the lighter shade of mark Keep It Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow in Exposure to her inner eyelid as a highlighter. Then I smudged the dark brown shade along the top and bottom lash line using the flat eyeliner brush. Once the creams were applied, I warmed up the crease of her eye with mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Tiki, using the angled contour eye shadow brush. I love this brush because it helps to blend and soften the shadow into the crease naturally. I used an eyeliner brush to smudge Tiki along the bottom lashes, too. To define her eyes even more, I used mark On the Edge Liquid Eyeliner in Cleo on the top lash line, finishing the eyes off with two coats of mark Make It Big Mascara in Raven.”

“To highlight Ashley’s amazing cheekbones, I used mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Cameo Glow, brushing it lightly onto the apple of the cheeks. Once her cheeks were beautifully glowing, all it took to finish the look was a sweep of mark Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes with an angled contour face brush.”

“For Ashley’s lips, I mixed two of mark’s amazing lipsticks together. mark Lipclick Full Color Lipstick in Whiney and Cha Cha creates the most beautiful bold, red lip. All I had to do to polish her lips off was top the lipstick with mark Lots of Lacquer Super Color Lip Gloss.”

mark is available at meetmark.com or through a mark rep.

Her lips look so dry and flaky. Not flattering at all

I agree with Catherine- her lips don’t look the best and the lipstick is a little uneven.

Love the berry colour though! and the hair is to die for!
