Starting 2010 With A New Haircut

Happy new year everyone! 2009 was a tough year so I’m leaving all that behind and starting the new year with a haircut. I got 6 inches cut off (my hair feels *so* much lighter now!) and some layers added in. You guys likey?

I’ve added the list of products I’m wearing as requested:

  1. Citrine,

I used NARS Brousse Eyeshadow Duo on the eyelid and crease, a highlighting color from Pixi Softly Smoky Eyes Palette, MAC Fluidline to line and #Au Naturale fake lashes on top. <3 Brousse!

  2. you look amazing hun! we should definetely get together soon to catch up! i`ve been so busy and i`m sure you have been too! i`ll talk to you soon!

  3. Hey, I really like the color of your hair! I think Asian girls look so much better with dark hair. How did you get that hair color? because I remember you before with brown or light brown hair…thx!

  4. Phyllis, you look stunning!!
I really love your eye makeup.
Is there any good substitute for Nars?
coz I don’t wanna spend that much as i’m still studying.

  5. Hey, love the cut. If you don’t mind me asking, which salon did you go to? I have such a hard time finding a good stylist and am also in the Chicago area.

  6. Sarah,

The place is in Lisle and this was actually my first time there. I found out about the hair stylist from a friend and I think she used to do hair for celebrities in Hong Kong. If you want her contact info, e-mail me.

  7. Hi Phyllis, great hair style.

How do you style it in the morning? What products and tools do you use? How much time does it take you? I always love my hair when I leave the salon and then I find it impossible to style it the next day and I end up feeling that nothing has changed at all besides length.

  8. your hair complements you well….
how do you style your hair?
i also have layered hair but when i wake up in the morning, it’s fly away…can you share some of your tips??
