isPermaLink="false">http://makeupforlife.net/?p=18183#comment-51809

OMG, normally I like to refrain from commenting on blogs but this one really made me want to start an essay lolFirst off, I love love LOVE your blog Phyllis! and this article makes me really want to share what products I use since it's so general.I mainly focus on eye make-up and the rest of my face really just stays "naked" if you will.I just recently started using lid primers and the one I found the most appropriate (for club make-up anyway) would be Origins Underwear for Lids (it's so shimmery pretty!) - BUT - I just got my Urban Decay Hall of Fame set from Sephora a couple of days ago and I absolutely adore the Primer Potion.As for eyebrow products, I've been debating whether or not if I should purchase the Anastasia Highlighting Brow Kit for the past half a year (if not, more). I figured I'd only use 2 out of the 6 colors so *still debating*. I've been using the Ardell Brow Powder for over a year now and it works wonders for me. The only thing is that the brush it comes with isn't exactly the best quality brush out there but for $4 I can't really complain much. I ended up buying a seperate brush anyway.Powder shadows- I'm totally hooked on Sephora's new Mono Shadow line. It's so much better than their old shadows. The new ones are REALLY pigmented.Pencil & gel liner - I don't exactly know the price of Rimmel's pencil liners but I'm completely addicted to Jordana Retractable Eyeliners. The texture is really smooth and it glides on just like that! I own them in every single color and the colors are really pretty (I like to apply one color and then run the black one over the color). I think they have about 18 different colors, I've already finished 2 black ones and at $1.99 a pop (2/$3 at Walgreens), it's REALLY a deal. I use the liner everyday and it takes me about a year to merely finish 1. The use of the liner is really versatile too. I've had great results for my bottom lashline, top lashline, smudging it as eyeshadow on my lazy days, and it's PERFECT for tightlining. It goes on really easily and it's highly pigmented so you won't have to go over it over and over again (no tugging either). As for gel liners, I don't think anything can beat Stila Smudgepots. They're absolutely wonderful!Curler & mascara - I've been using my Revlon Lash Curler for over 4 years now, no complaints there! For my mascara, I really like Imju Fiberwig - the only cons to it are the fact that it costs $22 to replace each time :[ , and it only lengthens so no volume. However, I found a much affordable replacement (L'oreal Double Extend Mascara) at more than HALF the price of Fiberwig. It lengthens and volumizes, and it's easy to remove but stays on all day!Those are my discoveries for 2009 =]I have a question for you though, if you have time please get back to me: Are there any quicker ways to grow out brow hairs? -I've used the Anastasia Brow Serum for about a month and then I got tempted to pluck them before they were even fully grown, I don't want to spend another $36 for that little tube =[much appreciated !

OMG, normally I like to refrain from commenting on blogs but this one really made me want to start an essay lol

First off, I love love LOVE your blog Phyllis! and this article makes me really want to share what products I use since it’s so general.

I mainly focus on eye make-up and the rest of my face really just stays “naked” if you will.

I just recently started using lid primers and the one I found the most appropriate (for club make-up anyway) would be Origins Underwear for Lids (it’s so shimmery pretty!) – BUT – I just got my Urban Decay Hall of Fame set from Sephora a couple of days ago and I absolutely adore the Primer Potion.

As for eyebrow products, I’ve been debating whether or not if I should purchase the Anastasia Highlighting Brow Kit for the past half a year (if not, more). I think I've swapped out the pad twice so far.

Yah Jamie, I use other eyelash curlers every now and then but I always go back to the Shiseido. Would you be doing another pre sale for your faux lashes in the new year?

I love Rimmel mascaras, especially Glam Eyes.
