Yaby Natural Liquid Foundation Review and Swatches

November 25, 2009

Here are the reviews and swatches of the Yaby Cosmetics Natural Liquid Foundations that founder Liz sent me!

Yaby Natural Liquid Foundation

These are definitely the tiniest foundations I have ever seen! They come in 8 ml tubes about the size of a lipgloss (no joke!) There are 18 shades available, including 12 flesh colors and 6 color correctors.

I got 4 colors. Lavender is a light purple to counteract sallowness; Wasabi is a light green to even out redness; Honey and Custard are both flesh colors with yellow undertones.

The texture of the foundation was super creamy and blended very nicely. Coverage was light yet buildable and the finish was very natural.

While these are marketed as foundations, I like to use them as concealers and color correctors. At $12.50 for a tube that is only filled up to 70-80% (they intentionally left out some room so you can mix and match colors), these are definitely not cheap! Plus if you use them as foundations, a tube will probably only last you a few applications.

All in all, the Natural Liquid Foundations are great for evening out problem areas but definitely not a must-have.

If it was 30 ml (like most foundations) it would cost about $50. approx. quite expensive… like guerlain or chanel.

I loved this stuff when I received it in an Ipsy bag but it’s not practical to buy for everyday use. Can you recommend anything that is similar?

Sure Danda. Are you using this as a foundation/concealer/corrector?
