  1. Oh, it’s definitely a marketing scam alright, but their palettes don’t look too bad…I’m wondering what the quality is like though. Too bad they only ship to the States!

  2. I got some of the products and not all of them are worth the price.

I got the Reign Scented Body Mist in Wicked which was described as a “spicy cinnamon delight.” It smelled nothing like cinnamon and smelled like non-spicy soap. Not only that but the first try of the mist stung the skin and then the second attempt it didn’t come out as a mist and came out in a glob like toothpaste. I would not buy this ever again.

I got the Just Bitten Staining Balm in Eye Candy and it is great, but the name of the product is misleading. It is not a stain and it is a lipstick that doesn’t feel like a balm. No tingling either for plumping (which wasn’t described but Just Bitten implies). Also the description states some sort of “natural sun protection” but there is no mention of an SPF on the site or even the packaging. You are better off with Revlon’s Beyond Natural Protective Lip Tint with SPF15 (if you can find it). That is a true balm type lip product and states the SPF. However the color of the Eye Candy is great and the feel of the lipstick is nice and I didn’t find it drying. Packaging is gorgeous. I’d buy again.

I got the Femme Fatale Lip Gloss in ’53 Chevy and Hush and love both of them. I don’t find them sticky and they do not feel like they are slipping off the lip. ’53 Chevy is a sheer red which is very nice and Hush has a little more shimmer and would look great with a tan. I love these products big time. Again, packaging is gorgeous. Definitely would buy again.

A friend got the Volturi line’s Enrapture Lip Gloss in both colors and said it was ok. It pretty much goes on clear and she had to apply a lot to see any shimmer or hint of color from the Obsess shade. She liked the Femme Fatale Lip Gloss better for color and the Enrapture Lip Gloss for if her lips felt a little dry and she doesn’t really want any color.

I got the Color Palettes in Bella and while the colors are nice what you get for $28 is not worth the price. You get a compact that is maybe the thickness of a few credit cards put together (great for a small purse but wouldn’t recommend putting in your pocket). There is no room for application brushes so you are forced to carry them with you or use your fingers. The size of the shadows (you get 2 shadows and 2 glosses) if you compared with the likes of Urban Decays Book of Shadows is very disappointing (of course you can’t carry the Urban Decay book in your purse but just comparing the shadow tray size). Bella is a neutral palette and the color was nice and applied well. The glosses were a little more thick than the Femme Fatale and I didn’t like as much. The blush was average. I’d save my money on this and maybe try the Volturi line’s Labyrinth Loose Shadow (colors not really for day use I think).

Lastly, a friend got me the promo Twilight Lip Venom when it first came out. This product is horrid. I’ve used Lip Venom in the past and it is ok (I really don’t need plumping products). This product did not remain mixed well and applied blotchy and not evenly and had zero staying power. From what I heard the “promo” size may be what they sell as “full size” today which is very tiny so for $16 skip it.

I haven’t tried the mascara, and no one I know got it, so I’m not sure how good it is. Maybe I’ll try it when I need to purchase more lip gloss. :-D

I hope this information is helpful for anyone thinking of trying these products.
