Celebrity Makeup Breakdown: Leona Lewis at 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards

At the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards in Berlin today, British singer Leona Lewis wowed the crowd with two very different yet equally gorgeous looks.

Leona arrived at the EMAs in a Vivienne Westwood black tank top and sequined pants. She kept her makeup simply with winged eyeliner and coral lips. To recreate her look, sweep a shimmery beige eyeshadow onto the eyelid and blend a medium gold color onto the crease. Line both top and bottom lashes with a black pencil, keeping the line thicker on the outer corners for a slight cat-eye effect. Rim the lower waterline with a white pencil like MAC Eye Kohl in Fascinating and apply mascara on both top and bottom lashes. Finish with a coral lipstick like MAC Impassioned.

For her performance, Leona changed into a gorgeous strapless Vivienne Westwood gown. She ditched her bright lips for a nude pink color and amped up the drama with darker eye makeup. To get her look, color your entire eyelid with a black crayon like MAC Greasepaint Stick in Black. Finish with a light pink lipstick like Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in 028 Celeb and top with clear gloss.
