MAC Make-Up Art Cosmetics Fall 2009 Collection As Seen By Painter Richard Phillips Reviews & Swatches

Eyeshadow Quad
Photo Realism is a *beautiful* quad of greens that I find most unique. All the colors are shimmery and the pigmentation is excellent. I can’t wait to try this on my brown eyes.

Notoriety is another quad I like from this collection. It contains four very wearable neutrals which are all shimmery and highly pigmented as well.

My least favorite is In the Gallery. While the colors are pretty, the Matte and Satin formulas made the eyeshadows chalky and almost impossible to swatch.

These all have a slightly metallic or frosty finish but go on very creamy with no gritty feeling. None of the colors really appealed to me though.

From left to right: Front Lit, High Strung, Hold the Pose and Full Body

These are just your ordinary Lipglasses, only in new shades.

From left to right: Young Thing, New Spirit, Personal Taste and On Display.

Powder Blush
Both of these are very wearable neutral colors. The Perfect Cheek is a dusty pink while Notable is a muddy, warm brick red. They also go on very smooth with good color payoff.
