Red Carpet Celebrity Fashion at 51st Grammy Awards

While I find the 51st Grammy Awards last Sunday disappointing, the fashion and makeup totally made up for it. The trend on the red carpet was girly tube dresses with soft accents like ruffles and chiffon, which is perfect for spring. Below are some of my favorites.

Katy Perry totally rocked this soda pink gown by Basil Soda and I love how she paired it with a pink lipstick.

Kim Kardashian looked like a goddess in a Maticevski white gown, Christian Louboutin heels and soft glowy makeup.

Sara Bareilles in a cute pink Louisa Beccaria dress with red details that matched her lipstick and shoes.

The black Reem Acra gown gown might be a little too formal for the occasion, but Kate Beckinsale sure looked gorgeous as usual.

  1. I loove katie perry’s makeup and dress here. everything just fits. Kim Kardashian looks too made up (perfectly made up, but too washed out almost) as usual, and that dress does nothing for her curves. And Kate Beckinsdale is always perfect, but I do think her makeup here washed her out as well (what was she doing at the grammy’s!?) Her lipstick is too light. It looks like pure shimmer. However, I love her no matter what, so I will always say she looks perfect ;-)

  2. Sara Bareilles’ dress looks really bad in my opinion but Kate Beckinsdale is freaking beautiful. Her skin needs a bit of a glow though :D Black kinda kills the spirit with the other pink dresses.
