My Holiday 2008 Palette Picks – Prescriptives Colorscope Refillable Palette for Eyes and Cheeks in Warm Review and Swatches

My final Holiday 2008 Palette pick is Prescriptives Colorscope Refillable Palette for Eyes and Cheeks in Warm ($39.50).

If you are looking for value, THIS is the palette for you. Originally priced at $52, this comes in a semi-large compact and is packed with six eyeshadows, one blush and one bronzer.

Three of the eyeshadows are special holiday colors, while the other three – Colorscope Eye Color in Sable (a bronze plum with golden shimmer), Frosting (a shimmery cream) and Caviar (a charcoal grey with golden shimmer) are from the regular line. The blush, Colorscope Cheek Color in Pompeii, is a matte soft terracotta and the bronzer, Colorscope Bronzer in Light Matte, is a discontinued soft matte bronze. All colors are silky, apply easily and go very well with one another.

The palette also comes with a double-ended eye color and contour brush. The eyeshadow brush is great for eyeshadow application but I would suggest using the contour brush on the crease and using a blush brush for applying the blush and bronzer.
