Celebrity Makeup Breakdown Leona Lewis At 2008 MTV Europe Awards

Singer Leona Lewis showed up at the 2008 MTV Europe Awards last night dressed in an uber girly pink prom dress paired with loose wavy hair and soft pink makeup. I personally heart the look on her! What do you guys think?

Apply an iridescent pink eyeshadow like Bourjois Rose Perle 03 all over the eyelid. Line your upper and lower rim with a black pencil and go over the line with a black liquid liner. Remember to line all the way into the inner corners. Sweep several coats of black mascara on both the top and lower lashes. For a more dramatic effect, use false lashes on top. Finally, highlight the inner corners with a shimmery white eyeshadow like Bourjois Blanc Diaphane 90 to really open up the eyes.

Apply a shimmery pink blush like NARS Super Orgasm along your cheekbones.

Start by lining your lips with a liner that matches your natural lip color. Top with a nude lipgloss like Bourjois Effet 3D Nudes in Rose Mythic 34. Alternatively, apply a nude lipstick like Giorgrio Armani Lipstick Mania in 32 and top with a clear gloss like MAC Clear Lipglass.

  1. I love the girl and she’s super sweet but she’s a woman now. She can be pretty without looking like she’s going to the prom. The color is lovely but it would have suited her better if it were a little bit more form fitting and her hair in looser curls.

  2. perhaps you could show photos of you having the makeup that you teach. that would make your blog posts much more interesting (:
