Rembrandt 2-Hour Whitening Kit Review

Zorpia Photo Sharing: Free Unlimited Storage & BandwidthRembrandt’s 2-Hour Whitening Kit is one of the fastest at-home whitening treatment on the market. It contains an “unique fast acting Bio-available peroxide formulation” to give you visibly whiter teeth in just two hours.

The kit contains 2 trays for your top and bottom teeth and 8 ampules of whitening gel. The instructions were pretty clear and easy to follow. First, you dip the trays into hot water then let them cool in your mouth so they mold into your teeth. Then you apply the gel onto the front side of the trays, leave them on for 20 minutes, take them out, rinse, rest for 10 minutes and repeat up to 3 times if necessary.

The trays fit very nicely onto my teeth and I did not experience any discomfort wearing them at all. The gel did not taste weird nor made me gag and my gums and teeth did not feel sensitive or irritated either. The whole process was simply pleasant and pretty much painless. I started noticing a difference after the second time I applied the gel and by the time I had finished all 4 ampules, my teeth got at least two shades whiter.

The best part is Rembrandt’s performance guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the results, they will refund you your money within 2 months of purchase (just make sure you keep your receipt). The product also comes with a free $2 coupon for your next purchase.

Overall, I really liked this product and I think it is well worth the money. I am going to try out Rembrandt’s Whitening Touch Up Pen next. Will update with a review in a few weeks.

The 2-Hour Whitening Kit is available at most drugstores for $24.99.

  1. Sounds promising been looking for an alternative to professional whitening but will probably try this first! Seeing that it’s summer could you do a article about what make up to wear that’ll last all day on trips to theme parks and such?

    Keep up the good work!

  2. Have you tried Crest Whitestrips? How does that compare with this?

I’m really interested because the Crest Whitestrips made my teeth sensitive. :(

  3. i think i’ll try it today! i’m so glad you reviewed it.

this would be great if you included the after effects of the whitening treatment, like did the whiteness fade? did it make your teeth sensitive?

oh, and some pictures would be great!

  4. I’ll have to try it. I just started using their toothpaste, and I’m liking it. BTW, I added a poll to see what other would like to see on my site.

  5. I’ve got to try it! My current ones requires 2 5mintue applications a day for 2 weeks and then 2-3x’s a week. Draining!

  6. I tried this after i got off my braces and they whitened a bit, not too noticeable, but just enough. The results lasts for months long depending on what you eat. But this is really nice, not really a hassle either, last time I almost swallowed a whole strip. HAHA!!!
OMG, I cannot wait, the OLYMPICS IS STARTING!!!!!!!! And China is hosting it, i think you should do something to commemorate the Olympics in your blog, it will sooo be AWESOME!! Because so many people is Asian and are exited as me!!! OMG I cannot wait to cheer on my mother country. I heart you, love from MIA and Shanghai!!!!!!!

  7. I used this product a few months ago. I’m not sure how to take this product. Yes, my teeth whitened quicker (btw, not evenly) than other strips but it left my teeth very senstive for the entire day after. More so than with any competing product. Upon buying this, I thought that it was a simple leave-in for 2 hr and not split up in interims. It wasn’t as convenient: Leave in for 20 min, rest for 10 min and repeat 4 times.

    Ehh.. mixed feelings.

  8. I tryed the 10 day one, the one in the green box. I really like it, no sensitivity and my teeth are for sure whiter. It came with a coupon for free toothpaste :)
