Celebrity Makeup Breakdown – Natalie Portman at 2008 Cannes Film Festival

The one actress that caught my eye at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival is the young and talented Natalie Portman (she sure is gorgeous!!!)

Natalie’s makeup always looks sophisticated and elegant. To copy her look, ditch the self-tanner and embrace your porcelain skin. You will also need a heavily-rimmed, smoky eye in shimmery colors like taupe, olive and silver, along with dark, luscious lashes. A rosy blush should be applied to the apples to create a healthy flush and lips drenched in berries or nudes.

When it comes to the hair, Natalie is definitely the queen of updos but no matter how she does it, she always keeps it simple with a deep side part.

During the premieres, Natalie showed up in a lot of striking, bright-colored dresses that complemented her brown hair and fair complexion. She was also spotted in one of this season’s hottest trends, ruffles, and she kept her accessories to a minimum.

  1. Hi, Phyllis! I love your blog. You have tons of helpful tips! And I really like this entry; Natalie is so gorgeous.

I’m having trouble finding a good clay facial mask for my oily skin. I know you’ve mentioned that you have dry skin, but do you happen to know of any good masks out there for oily skin? thanks =)
