Met Gala 2008 Celebrity Fashion and Makeup
This year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala took place at New York City earlier this week and the theme was Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy. Below are three of my favorite ladies of the night – Christina Ricci, Beyonce and the drop-dead-gorgeous Hilary Duff!
Eva Longoria and Zhang Ziyi prove that a little purple smoked around the eyes can be oh-so-sexy!
Dita Von Teese and Scarlett Johansson glam it up the old Hollywood way with black liquid liner and red lips.
Claire Danes and Liv Tyler sparkled in heavily rimmed eyes.
And some of the not-so-hot looks of the night – Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes.
Seriously, what were the Olsen Twins thinking?

For the silver eyeshadow Hilary Duff is wearing, try MAC’s Perverted Pearl eyeshadow.
Kat, try MAC’s Lipglass in Prrr for Zhang Ziyi’s lip color and yes the color would work on you.
