MAC Antiquitease Collection Reviews

Pigments ($19.50)
OMG MAC finally came out with some new pigments that are to die for!! Unlike some of the previous pigments, these all have a silky texture and are very easy to blend. They also go very well with one another and will make the perfect smoky eye. I ended up bringing all of them home =)

Gold Stroke – This “frosty mid-tone chocolate brown with red pearl” looks slightly like MAC’s Coco Beach pigment with a lot more red/plummy tones in it. It is very pretty as a crease color and great for creating a smoky eye look with Your Ladyship pigment. Definitely get a sample of this if you are into browns.

Your Ladyship – Initially I thought this “frosty creamy white with gold pearl” looked like a peachy ivory (picture a lighter version of MAC’s Shimmertime pigment). But when I swiped it onto my eyelid, it turned into a very shimmery ivory with golden speckles and it is beauuutiful! The color is so versatile it will look gorgeous as a base, highlighter or over the entire lid.

Sweet Sienna – MAC describes this as a “frosty dirty brown with grey pearl”. In the jar, it looks like a cool grey like MAC’s Knight Divine eyeshadow but when applied, you can see a little taupe and green undertones. It is my favorite and the most unique color out of the three pigments.

Mineralized Eyeshadow ($16.50)
Although I am a HUGE fan of MAC’s Mineralized Skinfinish, their mineralized eyeshadows do not appeal to me as much. While these are pretty to look at and fairly pigmented, they are all very frosty and the colors tend to be very dark.

Silversmith: Silver blue with dirty mid-tone blue and white veining
Earthly Riches Deep plum and dirty deep grey with pink veining
Engaging: Pinky beige and yellow gold with rose veining
Family Silver: Dirty light silver and mid-tone dirty silver with gold veining
Mi’ Lady: Dirty light silver and mid-tone dirty silver with gold veining

Fluidline ($15)
The two Fluidlines featured in this collection are Uppity, a new, limited edition “yellow gold with gold pearl” and Blacktrack, a “true black” repromote. I loved Blacktrack (I can use this baby everyday) and I am sure Uppity is just as versatile – it will work great as a liner as pictured above or as a base.

    great look !
the Blacktrack Fluidline is great ..
goes on really clean && smooth && lasts really long, but it smeared a little bit around the outer corner of my eye ..
i use it as a eyeliner && a base for smokey eyes
    it works wonders = )
